This committee is responsible for the administration of the employment practices of Mt. Vernon, including employment opportunities, job descriptions, fair employment practices, benefits administration, staff evaluations, personnel policies, and the annual review for adequate compensation for all staff.
The committee fosters understanding, caring and encouragement of all staff.
OUR COMMITTEE VISION:
To be an organization that respects the dignity of each person along with their need to develop personally and professionally, to earn fair compensation, and to make a positive contribution to the organization’s purpose; and to do so by encouraging collegiality, cooperation and collaboration through an embodiment of the ethics of justice love toward all staff members, employees and volunteers, thereby enhancing and improving the lives of both those who are served, as well as those who serve.
